Health Visitor

Hello, I'm Debbie Wallwork and I am the health visitor for the practice. Please phone me on 01484 344317 for advice about you or your families health. I usually work Monday, Tuesday and friday mornings. There is an answerphone if i am unavailabe to take your call.

Every Friday I run a well baby/ child clinic at the surgery between 11 and 12 0'clock. No appointment is necessary.

I have a special interest in sleep, dietary and behavioural concerns in children, so if your little one will only eat jam sandwiches or wakes you up twenty times each night!, please ring me to have a chat or arrange an appointment. You never know, I may be able to come up with some suggestions, or even the odd solution!!

I am also able to give health advice to all members of the family. So if you would like information about healthy eating, safety advice for the home, keeping safe in the sun etc. please give me a ring.

* Wound care
* Support visits and carer support

* Health education

Referrals are mainly made from GPs and local hospitals but referrals
are welcome from patients, carers and families.

If you have a skin laceration, possible broken bone or medical condition where waiting would endanger your health, go to the nearest A&E department. See our Hospital services page.

It is our aim to provide our patients with a high standard of general practice. We hope that you will find us efficient and courteous, as well as providing good medical care. If you would like to comment on the services provided or have a complaint, please write to, or ask to speak to, Mrs. Susan Mellor, our practice manager. We welcome your views.
