When We Are Closed

There is always a doctor on-call; the surgery uses the services of NHS 111. If you need a doctor urgently please telephone the 111 number at any time, night or day. This is free from mobiles and landlines.

Your call will firstly be answered by staff working for the NHS 111 service. Please be ready to give the details of the patient, what the problem is and directions to the address.

Please note that calls to the emergency service are recorded.

Walk-in Centres

The nearest NHS Walk-in Centre is based at North Kirklees Walk-in Centre:

Dewsbury & District Hospital

Halifax Road, Dewsbury, WF13 4HS

Tel: 0844 8118110

This is approx. 13.6 miles from the surgery.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and/or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
