Home Visits

If you are housebound and unable to attend the surgery and require a home visit, please notify us by telephone before 10am.

If you are calling for yourself or on behalf of a patient please supply reception with, full name and address and enough information to suggest the urgency of the visit.

When requesting home visits the receptionist may need to know a little more detail on the nature of the illness and the patient’s inability to attend surgery. The receptionist will sometimes point out that urgent attention would be more quickly obtained by attendance at the surgery. In this they have our full backing, especially in the case of children and young adults.

Home visits should be medically justifiable and not requested for social convenience
